Since 1976, McLeay Geological has been providing high quality Wellsite Geological services to the domestic and international Oil & Gas Industry. Being the main focus of our service, we managed to grow and develop a large number of competent and skilled field personnel able to satisfy the most demanding requirements on the market.
To the complete satisfaction of our Clients, McLeay’s field geologists have successfully supervised over 12,000 wells on the Canadian soil and abroad.
The standard wellsite services provided by our field geologist include but are not limited to:

• Gathering and accurate interpretation of geological and engineering data during all phases of the drilling program
• Complex evaluation of drill cuttings, conventional cores and sidewall cores
• Total Gas detection supervision and evaluation of data
• Gas-Chromatography Services
• Preparation and provision of daily geological reports, Striplogs, Gas Logs, Wireline Logs, Core Logs, etc.
• Supervising and/or working in a very close liaison with the Directional, MWD, Wireline, Coring and DST teams
• Very close liaison with the drilling team on location in order to secure a cost-effective and safe drilling environment
• Daily informative reports of rig activities
