For over thirty one years, the wellsite consultants at McLeay Geological have supervised more than 6000 wells, gaining extensive geological and mud logging experience throughout Canada and abroad. All phases of the wellsite supervision were successfully covered including: conventional/underbalanced vertical, deviated and horizontal wells, shallow or deep basin Foothills development/exploration programs, Coal Bed Methane, Oil Sands and Heavy Oil projects.

In addition to the Canadian experience, a large number of our consultants have offshore and foreign experience in: Algeria, Angola, Bangladesh, Belarus, China, Colombia, Congo, Cuba, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lybia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Ukraine and USA.

Beside the wellsite supervision we also offer full detail descriptions and analysis of core and cuttings. Petrographers with one to twelve years experience, use high quality microscopes, photo cameras and software for cuttings and thin sections. With reasonable notice, they can work out of their home the samples sent in town for immediate casing decisions or just simply use the AEUB and GSC facilities for different other projects.

In keeping the good work, the McLeay field consultants and petrographers are equipped with all the necessary modern equipment such as notebook computers, cell phones and boosters, phone and fax modems, binocular microscopes, digital cameras, and so on. Auto insurance, liability insurance, workers compensation coverage and the required technical and safety industry courses are included in their marketing portfolio as well.
